Dual Monitors, one always "default monitor"

I have an Nvidia ti4600 based dual head video card with two identical
Samsung 191t plus lcd monitors.

The one plugged in with a digital connector is always properly recognized,
but the one connected to the analog head of the video card always says
"Default Monitor", and the properties button in Dispaly
properties-->advanced-->Monitor is grayed out no matter what I do.

I was able to override what Device Manager said, it now lists the right
monitor (four times???).

I thinnk I've read about a reg hack that can fix this, does anyone know what
I mean?

It's not causing any malfuntion except that some color fine tuning software
that came with the monitors won't run if both are not recognized as the
right type.

Thanks, Bob

It also disables "show window contents while dragging" all by itself.

Not Fun

I know I'm going to have to try using the Dig to analog dongle and running
both with d to a conversion, I was just hoping not to.
