dual monitor trouble with 6.4 drivers

I tried using ATI driver version 6.4 with dual monitors and had
significant trouble. The taskbar wouldn't stay in the correct
monitor after a reboot. When trying to drag a program window to the
top of the secondary monitor, it would fall back down on its own.
Then again, using the 6.3 drivers I have gotten two blue screens of
death over two weeks, the first BSODs I have seen in three years
using Windows XP.

I just had the only hard freeze in Windows XP in three years of use
(with NVIDIA video cards). That combined with three blue screens of
death BSODs in two weeks, also the first. Apparently I made a mistake
going with ATI.
