Dual monitor + laptop

I have two monitors hooked up to my laptop dock, and I can switch the
display to show the dual monitor view. I also know that in windowsxp,
you can have up to 10 monitors working at one time with the necessary
video cards. What I'm trying to do is have the dual display up, but
use my laptop's display as a third monitor. However, I can't get
windows to show more than two available monitors under display
settings. Anyone have an idea how to get this working, or anyone
actually done this before?

Thanks!

Eric

The docking station might block use of the internal screen, and all laptops
doesn't know how to handle multiple monitors. It's a function of the
internal gfx chip...

(My bothers both have laptops, one shows only internal OR external screen,
the other laptop can extend the desktopto external screen, but not clone
it...)
