Dell Laptop and dual external monitor on docking bay

Have a Dell D620 on docking bay with Dell external monitor used as the second
monitor in a dual monitor setup. Laptop and Dell monitor.

If you log off at the end of the day with an application last used on the
second screen, then you start the laptop off the docking bay. Opening the
same app that last displayed on the second screen won't display on the laptop
screen.

Anyway to get it back to the laptop screen without reconnecting to the
docking station, starting the app and dragging it back over to the laptop
screen from the external screen? Then exit to save.

R-click the taskbar and elect to Cascade or Tile Windows.
