pixelated videos from dual monitor back to single

Hi,
I have noticed this problem since I moved from dual monitor back to
single monitor.
Now, when I play a video on a single monitor it looks very pixelated
(squared pixels), not smooth and linear like before.
To double check it wasn't me or my eyes, I switched back to dual
monitor again and all the movies look just fine again.
Is there anything else I should do? (apart from unchecking the "extend
my windows desktop onto this monitor" in Display property).
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks
Rob

More details such as video card make / model and PC specifications can
give us more info on how to guide you to solve this.

In general, to fix video problems, uninstall the video card drivers
and monitor drivers. Then, re-install the latest available drivers
for each.

I will try to do that, in the meantime I will give you my pc details:
AMD athlon 64 3200+
2GB ram
winXP pro
ATI radeon sapphire hd2600pro 512mb (installed the latest driver from
AMD website).

I guess Windows still remember the settings of 2 monitors, even if I
disable them and use only one....

Thanks again,
Rob

Same thing happened to me. If you come up with a solution, I'd like to hear it
