Hello,

On my PC I have with two partitions each with WinXP on it. Is there a
way that I can reboot my machine into the other partition without
having to select it from the list that appears when the PC first
starts (the one from boot.ini)? And without having to manual edit the
boot.ini file to change the default partition?

I ask this because I have a bluetooth keyboard and it doesn't work
until windows has loaded so I can't select a different parition if I
wanted to. Currently I use my regular keyboard to select, but it is
terribly inconvinient just to use the arrow key and have it taking up
space after I got this nice wireless one for xmas ;)

I'm thinking, is there a regular windows program (i.e. GUI and dummy
proof) like on the mac where I see a list of paritions with OS's
installed and all I have to do is select the partition I want and
click a reboot button?

If there is please direct me to it or information on how to accomplish
this. Thanks.

BUT....if your keyboard does not work till windows loads how are you going to
pick which OS to start with??

Right now I just wait the 15 or so seconds until the default selection
starts to load. I also have a regular keybard that I have to connect
if I want to choose a different selection other than the default.
Which is really annoying :)

I'm looking for a program that I can run from within windows and
select the partition that I want to be used during my next startup.
Then once I restart the computer it will be the default selection and
all I will have to do is wait until it loads automatically.

I'm looking for something like this (MacOS Startup Disk Control
Panel):
