Dual boot

I have a computer with XP installed. I would like to install a second drive and install Win98 on it. If I do this, can I still have a dual boot system. If the answer to the above is "no", can I install DOS on the second drive and boot from a floppy whenever I want to access my DOS applications? Regardless of which method I use, will XP be able to access the files created by my DOS apps for purposes of file transfer via email attachments or pcAntwhere file transfer?

Thanks,
Les
