Remove it as if it weren't a dual boot - the two OSes
aren't "bound" together in any way. Then remove
the boot.ini file entry under "[operating systems]"
that refers to Win2K and set the default OS entry
to be equal to the WinXP entry so WinXP will be
booted automatically without the boot menu being
put up at every boot.

"Alan" asked:
Just in case how do I remove Win2K later on ?
:
Yes--always install the oldest OS first if you are going
to use the XP boot menu for multi-booting.
:
Should I install Win2k before XP for dual boot ?
