Dual Boot Win2kServ as C: & Win98 D:

C

Catherine

I want to setup computers that have existing 2 hard drives in them
with Windows 2000server on C: drive and windows 98 on D: or below.

this is for a classroom environment so students can boot into a
windows 98 system and connect the machine to a 2000 domain etc etc,
which is why I do not want the windows 98 partition the primary boot
partition.

After reading this newsgroup it appears that windows 98 must be
installed on C: but hoping someone has a workaround.

Thanks in advance
Catherine

You should be able to create and format the two fat32 partitions, then
install Win98 to D:\ followed by installing Windows 2000 to the system
partition.

These may also help.
