Dual Athlon Question

I am thinking of upgrading to a dual Athlon configuration. Any
recommendations/warnings would be greatly appreciated.

If you have Windows XP Professional you are good to go, but Home Edition
does not support dual processors.
 
Yes, I have XP Pro... Do a lot of Photoshop and Premier work. Does anyone
have a processor model / mobo they recommend. I feel the need for speeeed.
