Dual 6600gt

Its me again / vs my neighbour .. he reckons that if i put x2 6600gt cards onto my A8N-SLi motherboard i do not get X2 but maybe 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 . He started to lose me . is this correct or do i get x2 ??. I am losing myself really now.

Hey man ... that is a pretty common question. From what I've learned is that no, you will not get X2 results. I think it really is more like 1.5 But even 1.5 is a big step up.

on the back of me asus motherboard box it says dual cards give a 1.8 increase i think
