Just recently had DSL service installed on the computer. It has not worked
right from the beginning. There is a blue screen message that appears 5-10
mins after being on the computer and then it has to be shut down and if that
doesn't appear we will be indicated that internet connection was lost. We
spoke to the ISP tech rep and nothing they suggested help. Then we contacted
the Dell tech rep with the same results. Any suggestions with this would be
great.

Thanks

Send us the error boxes wording (including any module
quoted as offender) also with a blue screen copy down the
modules it says and any memory address data shown.
Try to send these from any PC you have access to. Someone
here may help.

In 2 Timothy 3:1-7, there is a list of the qualities that
Unregenerate man will have in the last days. Is your quality
found there? If So, don't despair - Christ came to save His
people.

It sounds like perhaps you are having hardware problems. Perhaps your
network card is failing. It's hard to say with so little information.
Based on your post, you should probably consider calling a local
computer repair person to come and take a look. I don't say that to be
hurtful, but it might be the most efficient and least painful way to
get things working for you.

Hi All:
When something does not work, start at step one: Here it is the
Telephone line, I assume you have inside wire repair, most of us do, the
telephone compnay will come and test your line to the junction box,,, and
finally to the main switch station, it could be glitch in the telephone
company system ( ie isp didnt pay them, ect) anyhow, they will diagnosis free
of charge the telephone lines and there equipment and this will eanble the
next step is the DSL connections tight, is the DSL program loaded
correctly(ISP can help here) and finally is it a hardware issue, video card
on the blink, not enough ram, DSL modems defective, ect,,,, Call the service
number 611 and get telephone company to come over and test the lines, they
may find a glitch in there system who knows,,,,,,,,,

The test the telephone company does is called "the tone test", this checks
connections are good and that it a "clean line", I had my checked years ago
from the phone jack to the switch station, The technician learned his trade
in the US ARMY communications division, ask for one that has this credential,
I'm sure he can get to the bottom of any DSL problems, if they continue to
bill you and you have no service, contact The Telephone Company- customer
service and tell them about this and ask for assistance, you deserve it,

further, telling your isp you contacted the telephone comapny and there
declare there lines and equipment is up and running, gives you leverage, when
you talk to Dell and the ISP, then its there problem that they must fix,
quickly.
