Have you reinstalled the driver for your ethernet card? I had the same
problem with my dsl, sp2 did not recognize ethernet card had to remove it and
re-install it.
I am having the same problem after installing sp2! Un-installed sp2, and
re-installed the drivers and still get this message: "This device is not
working properly because windows cannot load the drivers required (code 31)"

I am having the same problem with my daughters computer. We have two
computers networked. Mine is the host and has previously been updated with
sp2 without any major problems. However after upgrading the other computer
with sp2, her network set up was wiped out/gone. After checking for problems,
the Broadcom device appears with a yellow exclamation. The error message
reads " This device is not working properly because windows cannot load the
drivers required (code 31)"
I have since uninstalled and reinstalled the hardware (using the original
cd) aas well as un-installed sp2. The problem still persists. Any ideas?
