DSL Connection drops

My daughter recently installed SP2 on her laptop. (She's in Israel, I'm
in the USA.)

Since then, her DSL connection to the internet seems to drop after about
20 minutes.

Any suggestions on how to get the connection to remain active?
 
It is possible that Power Management if killing the modem power. Open the
modem app in control panel. There should be a Power Mgmt tab.
