I would like to set up my internet connection using the USB connection.
When I connect it, WinXP Home SP2 will not set it up right. I have a 2Wire
SBC modium. Will the USB connection be better?

Thank you;
David

Sometimes the USB will work better than the ethernet or NIC. Make sure
you install the USB drivers for the modem before plugging into the ISB port.

If your system has an ordinary network adapter (NIC), and your DSL modem
does too, I would go with the NIC. While USB does work fine etc., I have
found that it almost always requires extra drivers. Your NIC already has
all the needed drivers installed, and they usually are small, very reliable,
and have very little impact on system performance.

Why do you want to use the USB connection? Does your system not have a
NIC?
