USB to USB internet connection

I have Time Warner Cable. There are connections for USB and Ethernet. I
use Vonage for my phone service. Will it work if I connect the Vonage device
to the Ethernet connection and the USB connection to a USB port on my
computer?

I believe your cable modem is configured to use either the USB or the Ethernet cable, but not both
at once.
Read the manual that covers your modem.
