Thanks Julie! That is exactly what I was looking for! Not complex
but then again excel is not my strong point. :

glad to assist & thanks for the feedback ... spend a bit of time at Debra's
site (the one i gave you) or Chip Pearson's (www.cpearson.com) and in the
newsgroups (and some of the other great sites mentioned here) and you'll be
well on the way to mastering excel in no time <g> :)
