I am using Vista 32 bit premium

I have a 300gb Hdd
4gb DDRAM
AMD Athlon x64 3800+ dual core
Asus A8N-E Mobo
Nvidia Geoforce 6800 LE Grahics card
Black Gold TV Tuner Card
USB 4x Card Reader

I have an external HDD that when plugged into USB port on pc can not be
found (it does not appear in my list of drives

I have an HP Photosmart Printer that will not print even though I have
installed HPs latest AIO vista 32 bit software and drivers

My internal four card reader with usb port isn't recognised (it would
usually be listed as drive F, G,Hand I) in my list of drives but I cannot
get it to install

I also subscribe to Driveragent and it has come up with a whole host of
drivers that are not the drivers I need. For instance it tells me that I
need nvidia drivers for 570 sli AMD when I dont

What on earth do I do?

From what you have written, I would say you have an issue with the USB
drivers, or sockets. Are the sockets switched to on, and to Hi-Speed in the
BIOS?

This is a longshot since the HP document refers specifically to their
PCs with XP Media Center on but they say that a version of HP Image
Zone can cause a "No DIsk" error message.

HP Media Center PCs - Error in Media Center: ehExtHost.exe No Disk, or
No Disk in the Drive

docname=c00575445&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN

The fix is to download the latest version of Image Zone for your
machine (or remove it?)

If you have that installed it might be worth checking HP for an update
since I'm a great believer that lightning does strike twice <g>
