Drives Map Themselves?

This is I think, a stupid question but I have to ask it. I have a small peer
to peer network. Computers are running XP Pro. One machine is acting as the
"HOST" for some shared applications and data. (This software was designed to
run in this environment.) The "client" machines have 3 drives mapped to
locations on the host. This seems to work fine for all users except one.
This user claims that additional drives are magically mapping themselves!
Yesterday I diconnected about 15 other mapped drives. Today I see an
additional 4 more drives. I showed her how the drives get mapped in Explorer
and she swears she didn't do it. The additional drives all seem to get
mapped to the same location. Has anyone got any ideas?

I'd suspect either a poorly written logon script or a corrupt user profile.

This is not a server configuration, there is no network login script. How
would I check the "corrupt user profile"?

How are you mapping drives on the client, then?

As for the user profile, copy any items that the user has on her desktop and
wants to keep to a different location, then delete and re-create her account
on the local computer, then put the desired items back.

I map the drives using Windows Explorer on the client.
