Drivers, crashes and other misc. goings ons...

Okay, here's the deal, I recently installed Xp Pro. Now
my comp keeps crashing. I have sent the error reports and
the response i get back is that it is a device driver
(cwcwd.sys) Now, according to other posts, I have the
same problem with getting drivers.
I would like to update them, but haven't a clue as to
who the product is made by. Can anyone help me out here?

Try this:

After you log onto the computer, bring up Task Manager. If the file is
there, then End it. Now see what device doesn't work anymore (or you might
be warned that a device may not work). If the file is not there, then the
problem will happen when you use a particular device. So go ahead and use
one device, then check task manager to see if the bad file was loaded.

or

Boot into SAFE mode where you can accept or reject each file as it is loaded
at boot time. When you see the offending file, tell it not to load. After
you are logged in, see what device isn't working.

good luck!
