DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Whenever I try to play multiplayer on Battlefield 1942
online my computer crashes to a blue screen, this happens
when it starts to load a map. The error message is
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL 0X000000D1
(0X003300016,0X00000002,X00000001,OXF7C5575E) and further
down the screen it names a driver as ALCXSENS. There is no
problem playing the single player on this game. I also
have no problems playing multiplayer on other games
including Battlefield Vietnam and Battlefield 1942 demo.
Any help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

The first thing you should always do is Google on the driver. Had you done
so, you would have found that it pertained to your graphics card (actually,
you should have drawn that conclusion yourself as it always happens when
you're playing a game).

Visit Nvidia's site and download the latest driver.

Unfortunately this problem is not quite as simple as your
incomplete answer makes it sound to be. DRIVER_IRQ.... is
seldom fixed with a graphics card driver update.

I did actually come to that conclusion myself and
downloaded the latest drivers from Nvidia but
unfortunately they didn't make any difference, hence the
reason for posting here to find out if there could be
another problem.

Have now solved the problem, it was actually a problem
with the sound card driver, downloaded newer version from
Realtek and game it now running ok. Hope this info may
help anyone else who has same problem

Look at the file that's causing the problem. It's part of the Nvidia's
driver set.
