Is there a method to get drivers for windows98 that came
and works on a windows xp labtop?

e.g of problems include screen size under windows98.

If I understand your rather oddly worded question correctly, no. You
need to install device drivers that are designed for the appropriate
operating system. You will need to find and install the proper video
drivers for XP, for instance. Go to the laptop mftr.'s site and see if
any are available.
