The device driver for the 'USB Composite Device' device is preventing the
machine from entering standby. Please close all applications and try again.
If the problem persist, you may need to upgrade this driver.
The driver is USBCCGP.SYS 5.2.3790.1830 (srv03_sp1_rtm.050324-1447)
Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Windows Publisher). Required for the ATI
Remote wonder 2 radio receiver.
There are no power options for this driver. Can I set power options with
regedit?
Is there a way to force standby or to ignore this driver, or to tell the
system to automatically disable it before entering standby. Or perhaps run a
script before and after entering standby - this script will disable and
re-enable the driver.
2K3_SP1
If I disable the driver manually, the system will enter in standby mode, but
I hate doing this every time!
This behavior is almost the same in XP_SP2, where the system will go in
standby mode, but will not the deep sleep mode (full power down with memory
refresh only or whatever it is called), because I still hear the noise of
the fans and harddisks.
Thank You for any support.
