Drive Sharing

Hi, I'm running a windows 2000 server.

I noticed that if I right click on drive C to bring up the property page.
then go to "Sharing" tab. I'll see "share this folder" radio option is
checked.

If I select the "Do not share this folder" option, everytime when I restart
my windows. It's still set back to "Share this folder"?

How to prevent this?

It probably is the administrative hidden share - c$. It is only available
to administrators. If you want to disable it you will have to disable file and
print sharing if you do not share resources with other computers, or disable it
in the registry. --- Steve

Hi sorry I can't get what you meant there. Can you show me the step-by-step
for doing that.

Besides, I just wonder if this is not allowed, then why the option is still
there?
