Drive not showing in Windows Explorer

I installed a slave drive and it doesn't show up in Windows Explorer even
though it's in Device Manager (working properly) and in the SETUP screen. I
have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers with negative results. It
still shows "working properly". What do I need to do to get it to show in
Windows Explorer?
Thank you.

If there is no data on the slaved hard drive then you will need to create a
partition and then format the drive using the Disk Management snap-in.

If there is data on the slaved hard drive then you may need to add a drive
letter for the slaved hard drive.

It showed a red circle with a minus sign. I clicked on the drive, went to
"action" and selected "New Volume", followed instructions from there and
everything seems to be working properly now.
Thanx
