Drive mappings

Jerry Fortenberry

We have several small peer to peer networks. The small group consist of one
W2k or Wxp machine we refer to as the "host". This machine is joined to our
Windows 2000 server domain. It's hard drive and printers are shared. The
other computers are Windows 98 SE . Everything works great as long as the
network is up. If the W2k or Wxp "host" lost connection to the domain
controller, then the W98 machines loose their drive mappings to the "host".
Even after connectivity is restored and all pc's are rebooted, I still have
to remap the W98 machines to the W2k or Wxp "host". I welcome your advice.
Thanks

depends on your network settings, it could be master browser issue. when the
host losses connection to the domain, peer to peer network doesn't have
master browser and the clients may not be able to see the others.
