Could anyone explain why I have a strange non existent drive apperaring in
my computer and also listed within the properties of device manager as an
AXV CD/DVD-ROM SCSI CdRom Device.
I use a Western digital raptor SATA hard drive, and have 1 dvd player, 1 dvd
burner and 1 cd writer.
This device does not show up in bios but appears within windows.
Any ideas?

It's part of Nero or another virtual drive, or a card reader like on a
printer?

Alcohol 120% ?

It' s indeed a virtual clone drive, installed by Alcohol 120%. Question is
however if it's safe to remove it after de-install of Alcohol, and how to
remove. Any suggestions?

We seem to be in the same boat. I too posted the same question on the same
day. I still cannot remove the drive. Let me know if you find a way and I
will do the same.

The "offending" file might be found in the /IOSUBSYS folder... check the
properties of the files in that folder, if target is found remove it from
that folder.
