Drive A:

Hello experts:
I have noticed that during the shut-down process my HP pavilion 750c
(WinXP-Home, SP2) accesses the A: drive momentarily. What is the reason for
this and can it be stopped?

You might have your bios set to boot from a floppy before drive C. If
there's no floppy boot disk, it skips right to the hard drive.

Sometimes all you have to do is put a disk in A:. Sometimes all you have
to do is to delte recent documents. Sometimes all you have to do is to
tell your anti-virus NOT to scan A:

Turn off the 'scan removeable media on shutdown' in your AntiVurus program.
