Dreaded x of doom with my images

I've designed the index of my website so far and published it and none of the
images work. I've uploaded the pics to the host as well as to the images file
on frontpage but no avail. This is the site i'm working on....it has a lot of
ads cos its temporary there.

In the page that opened, when checking the path by checking properties for
the missing image it showed the path as:
http://spamvicious.741.com/images/straightedge.jpg which references the
images folder
when actually it is here:
http://spamvicious.741.com/straightedge.jpg in the root folder.

That page does not exist but I can see images on other pages within the
site.

you have two homepages.

index.htm and index.html

http://spamvicious.741.com/index.html is the one you made .. but it needs to
be index.htm .. just Save As your index.html to index.htm
