Dreaded Blue Screen of Death on boot-up

W

Wallace

I get the dreaded bluescreen of death when I boot up my Dell computer, which
usually disappears if I boot up again. The technical information states that
an attempt was made to write to read-only memory.

Also
NDIS.sys - Address B(D$£)^* base at B(D10000, Date Stamp 41107ec3

Any idea what's going on?

What is the BSOD error code and message? Start some research here:
http://aumha.org/a/stop.htm, and do a Google search on the error code,
www.google.com.
