I've just noticed that my temporary files in C:\Documents and
Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Temp
is filling up with directories and files created by the compressed folder
mechanism in XP. To duplicate the behavior, browse to a compressed zip
folder, and then drag and drop a file onto a regular folder.
It seems that the files are never cleaned up. Is this a bug in the ZIP
handling?
Is there a setting somewhere that controls this?
