Hi jose,
I do have AVG Free and Malwarebytes installed. They both find nothing.
I also have Spyware Blaster, Spybot, HijackThis installed. They all find
nothing.
It just quit working again. I noticed some pages hang a lot or are really
slow trying to load. I have Comcast cable and it has been really fast, but
has been getting slower since I installed IE7.
I un-installed Adode flash player and my drag and drop started working right
after I got rid of it. Go figure, thanks for nothing Adobe.
I will see if this keeps working over the next few days. Then I will
re-install Adobe flash plug-in again.
Thanks,
Nick
I have Comcast also (Triple Play - woohoo!)
Does drag and drop works and it is just really slow or does drag and
drop not work (as your title).
If it is slow and sometimes seems fine, right click the taskbar,
choose Task Manager, choose the Processes tab, double click the CPU
heading to sort from most to least.
It will be updating and changing a bit. System Idle Process is like
"free" time, so the more the better and it should be on top of the
list.
My System Idle Process is never less than 85, but that depends on what
else is running
Under System Idle Process look at the processes with the highest
numbers. My Firefox runs 10-20 and is the next highest and the rest I
don't care much about since they are so low. I have Outlook, Task
Manager (obviously) but they are all pretty low. Most of mine are 00
so if you have a high one that you can't explain, you should figure it
out.
Adobe has had some issues in the past with their updater software, but
we need to see what is taking the time, instead of just deleting
things randomly (that may come later).
Do you see anything you can't recognize or can't identify that is
taking a lot of CPU?
Run down for me in a list the top 5 or 6 (Image Name and CPU only).
Jose
