Sorry, but your question makes no sense. When you download a
file, you don't get to choose its format. You get it in whatever
format it happens to be in. In rare circumstances, files may come
in choice of a couple of formats, but that's very much the
exception to the rule.

If you are trying to open a downloaded file in Microsoft Word,
and it doesn't open, almost certainly you are trying to open it
with the wrong program. Tell us the name of the file in question
for help as to how to open it.
