downloads not appearing

when i download ANYTHING, it doesn't appear. like i save it to a folder, or i
click open, it's just not there and i don't know how to fix it.

You should have a yellow strip on the top of your browser to indicate
popups have been blocked. Just click on the yellow strip and click on
download file.

no, i mean..
it downloads and everything but when i look for it in the folder i saved it
in, it's not there.

Then why not save it to desktop and see if it is there. If it is there
then the file should be here:

C:\Documents and Settings\ANONYMOUS\Desktop

ANONYMOUS = your own username.

are you using windows defender ?

i've come accross three machines now which when running defender the
download compleates then disapears

when i download ANYTHING, it doesn't appear. like i save it to a

You can make it 4 crime prevention!! I was having this problem... i
uninstalled windows defender, and i'm able to open my downloads.
