encoded fiels of mpeg avi et al.

I can't tell you which codec are involved.

Program : DivX Codec
Author : Official site
Version : 3.11 Alpha
OS : Windows 9x/Me/2000
Date : 21 May 2001
Size : 700 KB
Link : 1. Version 3.11 Alpha - Mirror Link 1
2. Version 3.11 Alpha - Mirror Link 2
3. Version 3.11 Alpha - Mirror Link 3 - Australia
4. DivX Scene Detect Patch
5. Vulture DivX patch
6. DivX Audio Compressor - see note
7. DivX Codec 4.x
8. DivX Codec 5.x

Make a check point and try a codec set, if it doesn't work
do a restore and try another.

another thing you can try is a google search for 'GSpot information
codec' - GSpot will tell you what codec a video file is using and
therefore what codec is required to play it.

Thanks Phil.

Almost called you Dr. Phil. <smile>

Gspot looks good.
