downloading video files

I am downloading an MPEG file from a website. Is there a
way to see the pop-up that lets me know what my download
speed and file size is? Thanks........

right click on the link and choose "Save Target As..."

I use the option "Save target as ..." and the popup appears every time.

If you're downloading a lot of big files then you might want to consider
investing in a program such as GetRight
