Downloading Updates

Can anyone please direct me to a Microsoft site where I can find a list of
updates for Windows XP Home.

The reason for this is that I would like to put these on a CD for some of
our Senior Group Members who are unable to get them due to poor dial up
connections.

The best way is to go to Windows Update, click on Personalize Windows Update,
put a check next to "Show the update catalog link..." > Save Setting. Click on
the catalog link now listed on the update page and select the updates to save.
Once saved, burn away to disk if you wish.

Or go directly to the Corporate site which IIRC does not include IE updates:

For IE UD's:

You can download them from the Catalog and save to be installed later.
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/catalog/en/default.asp

Click Add button for each update you want to download. Once you have what
you want, Click the "Go To Download Basket" link. Type in or browse to the
location where you want the updates saved to and then Click the "Download
Now" button.
Once downloaded, you can then burn them to CD.

For security and other patches released for a given month :
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/ms##-***.mspx
Replace ## with the two-digit year
Replace *** with the three character month abbreviation

Providing there are releases for that month, you will see the list of
"critical" "important" patches for that month
Check on the 2nd Tuesday of each month - later in the day.
