Downloading updates/service pack from another machine

Hi,

I'm trying to download SP1a for Windows XP.
As I only have a dial-up I have tried using another
machine which is on a decent network. It appears that the
download process is trying to examine the machine I am
using, which is causing it to be knocked off the network
it is on. Is there a way to simply download SP1a?

You can download them from the Catalog and save to be installed later.

You may get it from the Catalog, I couldn't check as the server is too busy.
