downloading programe

my brother give me a programe on a cd to put on my pc but when i put it in
the screen come up as ensure disk is in or network resourse i am not good on
pc can anyone tell me what to do please?

problem with shortcut the drive or network connection that the shortcut
refers to is unavailable make sure that the disk is propertly inserted or the
networkresourse is available and try again ??? help please .
