Downloading problems after sp2 installation

When downloading files and programs I used to get a box pop up that asked
if i wanted to open file or save file or cancell and then when i select save
i would get asked save to where, i'd select where i wanted download to be
savedd at then i would see the box showing download progress and transfer
rate , ever since i installed sp2 it doesnt do that anymore, it says down at
bottomleft of web page that its downloading and when done a folder pops up
making me run or open it right there and then and downloads to my Content.
IE5 folder i know others with xp and sp2 and the way they receive their
downloads remained as i said above any help would be greatly appreciated.

Confirm Download Dialog Box -

1. Open Explorer
2. Click the TOOLS menu
3. Select FOLDER OPTIONS
4. Then select FILE TYPES tab

Locate the file type (extension), click ADVANCED and click EDIT.
Note the "confirm download" box. Check it.
