Downloading only selected IMAP folders in outlook

John Antonio

have an imap email account with quite a few folders stored in it which is
really handy when im not at my main computer as it means i can refer to old
emails/confirmations etc from wherever i am. However, if im connecting via
gprs and paying via the MB i only want to download the headers from my inbox
to see if i have any new mail.

Is there any way to select which folders are downloaded in outlook?

Thanks

which version? outlook 2002 and 2003 use send/receive groups and you can
control the folders that are checked - but remember that selecting any
folder when you are online will download the folder contents.
