I'm trying to download AVG on my sister's PC and since she has a dial up I
cannot finish the download without getting knocked off. I used to have a
website that had constant activity and kept this from happening. Can anyone
give me website that will keep me online? Thanks in advance!

Google for "keepalive". However, a simple "ping" command running in the
background may help keep the connection alive...
In a command prompt,
ping <your DNS server or whatever> -t <enter>
However, if she's downloading something and still gets kicked off, I don't
know that this will help as keepalive programs are used generally to
prohibit disconnection while idle - has she contacted her ISP for help?

I'll try the keepalive site. I don't understand how to do the ping command.

Start | run
Type
cmd
Press OK

Type

ping 4.2.2.1 (or whatever your DNS server is if you want) -t <enter>

That will send a continuous ping to the IP you specified.
