Downloading, nowhere to save - Help

Hi all,

probably me being silly but for some reason every time I try t
download anything from the net I get the usual Run/save/cancel otio
box come up which is fine.

The problem is when I either click run or save the next box comes u
but with no 'save as' option. The folder it opens is for desktop an
there is nowhere that I can save the downloads to as there is n
option, therefore no download.

My computer does receive automatic updates which download fine such a
SP2.

I have no viruses on the system which I can find, is there somewher
where I can switch the option on.

Any help would be much appreciated, thankyou.

In internet options click the security tab>custom level and see if you have
downlods enabled
