downloading and saving incoming messages from hotmail account

I have Office XP on my P-4 which runs on Windows XP
Professional. How do I save incoming messages from my
hotmail account on to my hard disk for future reference so
that I can delete these messages from my hotnmail inbox
and keep my hotmail inbox available for future messages.

When you open Outlook 2002 with your Hotmail account configured you will
have folders listed under Hotmail and then you should also have a Personal
Folder file. If you want to save e-mails and take them out of Hotmail then
simply drag them or cut and paste them into one of the folders in the
Personal Folder file. This will save them locally in Outlook and remove
them from the Hotmail account.
