Hello everyone, I need some help:
My aunt has gotten the warning message for the downloader.trojan and
another virus to which she can't remember the name (i think it's one
of the other trojans that it downloads from one of the sites). Neways,
she does all of the symantec stuff, like turn off system restore etc.
etc IN HER USER ACCOUNT, and it says that she has the virus...However,
when she runs the full system scan in safe mode with the Administrator
account, it comes back showing that there is no virus...
So here is our questions: Is the virus even there? Don't you have
to manually delete it? It just isn't adding up to me. I haven't looked
the their computer yet, and yes, it's a home pc (dell), with a cable
connection. Could it be that the cable network's system is somehow
infected??? Sounds far fetched, but I am completely lost on this one.
Any Help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks Everyone,
