Anyone recognise this trojan?

One of my colleagues seems to have got herself a virus/trojan/scumware etc.
Details are vague but as far as I can tell:

she discovered a downloader.trojan virus which she removed and on Tuesday
she used the PC with no problem. Last night she tried booting up again and a
password request appeared; apparantly she now has 5 days left.

Anyone recognise this? I'm going to suggest she downloads Adaware, Spybot
S&D, Spywareblaster & Spywareguard, and AVG free, but if anyone else has any
other suggestions they'd be welcome. I have no idea what she uses at the
moment for security (assuming she uses anything at all!).

Thanks

The nasty little virus could be hiding in System Restore.
Turn off System Restore, reboot, and run a virus scan again.

You may wish to try the Panda ActiveScan Free Online Scanner.

Also, was a good, up-to-date, antivirus program installed?
