Hello Tammy,
I am not sure what you mean by "downloaded windows XP home edition", unless
you just meant that you installed it.
You can remove the extra operating system but doing the following...
1. Right click on My Computer and go to Properties
2. Go to the Advanced tab
3. Click on Settings under Startup and Recovery
4. Set the Default operating system to Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
5. Click Ok
6. Click on Settings under Startup and Recovery (again)
7. Click on Edit
8. Remove the extra entry for the unwanted operating system
9. Save and exit
Now you will only get the one choice when booting up. However, this will
not migrate your programs. The only way to do that is to install them under
the new operating system.
