Downloaded Outlook 2003 but send/receive not working

Installed Office 2003 and everything works find except for Outlook 2003 which
opens but does not show any folders or wil not open send/receive.
All of the email settings check out and I can receive emails on Verizon. I
am using McAfee security.

Any ideas?
