Downloaded micrsoft spyware, ran it and still have infected

computer is still infected. I have ran Beta software its
detected the virus and a trajan, I immidiatly remove the
files and re-boot computer and the stuff is still on
there when computer restarts?

Hi Tish,
Boot into Safe Mode (F8) at startup;
Empty your temporary files AND your Temporary Internet Files C:\Documents
and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files folder ;
Run the scan while in safe mode;
If you are running SP2, open IE--->Tools--->Manage Add-ons, and uncheck any
BHO's that you don't recognize.

If you think you have a virus also, update your virus definitions, and run a
scan. If you don't have anti virus running, at least go to Pandasoftware.com
and do a free online scan.
