download sent items just like received mails from mail account

How we can download sent items from our original email servers as we do in
the case of downloading reeceived mails. We press send/receive button to
receive emails that we have received but if we want to receive mails which
are sent by us not using outlook but using our original email account.

POP3 server or IMAP?

If POP3, you sort of can't. POP3 only downloads the Inbox, it doesn't
recognize other folders. If you have the ability to use a web based reader
and it allows you to move the sent items to the Inbox, the messages might be
downloaded (and then you'd need to move them back over to Sent Items as
well).

If IMAP, it should have just downloaded them afaik.
